Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha Puttur (R) (Formerly known as Puttur Education Society) was established in the year 1915 with an objective of imparting education to the Students of rural and backward areas in and around Puttur. The great visionaries like Molahalli Shiva Rao, Baindoor Rama Rao, Dharmasthala Manjayya Heggade and others were instrumental in starting the Society. The contributions of Sri Rama Bhat, Former MLA, Dr. Kota Shivarama Karantha, Jnanapeeta awardee are remarkable in the progress of the Society.

Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha aims at proper shaping of character and inculcating high sense of discipline amongst the students. The Society, consisting of dedicated and selfless social workers, is committed to the development of educational institutions catering to the needs of all sections of the region. 58 various institutions have been established by the Sangha in different Taluks of Dakshina Kannada District and Kerala State.

Every Individual is born to succeed. “YASHAS” is a centre for free training to IAS-IPS aspirants led by Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha (R), Puttur, D.K.

Our country needs nationalistic, ethical, non-corrupt bureaucrats to build New India. “YASHAS” aimed to produce the persons having values, social commitment, Excellence, Determination and devotion towards duty, dedication to the nation cause and inculcate true Indian values and ethics. “YASHAS” Centre relentlessly works towards realizing the dreams of youth especially from remote areas of our society.

Eligibity for YASHAS

Who can Enroll for “YASHAS”

• Student studying in X standard or S.S.L.C. in the current year
• Student who has secured more than 60% marks in the IX standard.
• Student who will continue his / her PU education at Vivekananda Pre-University College on selection to “YASHAS”.
• Student who will continue his / her under graduate, Education at Vivekananda Institutes.
• Student who is prepared to stay in the hostel.

ಲಿಖಿತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ವಿಧಾನ

1. ಪ್ರಶ್ನಾ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು.
   2. ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಅವಧಿ – 2 ಗಂಟೆ
   3. ಅಂಕಗಳು – 150
   4. ಪ್ರಶ್ನಾಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 120 ಅಂಕಗಳ ಬಹು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ 30 ಅಂಕಗಳ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
   5. ಬಹು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳ ತಪ್ಪು ಉತ್ತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ Negative ಅಂಕಗಳಿಲ್ಲ.
   7. ಲಿಖಿತ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾದವರು ಮೌಖಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕು.
   8. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯದ್ದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
