Counselling Forum

We have come up with the idea of a Counselling Forum for helping members of the community in matters relating to education, employment, career, studies abroad, problems with the government and local self governing bodies, problems of the neighbourhood impacting on the quality of life etc., (excluding matrimonial, health and legal subjects) We have a few motivated resource persons who will work on honorary basis as Counsellors/Mentors for the youngsters as well as others, to help themselves. They may be approached by email, phone etc., also. However, fixing up of appointments for personal discussion will have to be on prior consultation. For approaching them on telephone they could preferably be contacted only during 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m or at any other convenient time that may be enquired from them.

All the advice will be only on honorary and personal basis without anything to do with the Organizations and Departments in which they
are/were working so that any conflict of interest is avoided totally. It is also emphasized that all the advice will be with the disclaimer that the person who has given the advice has no legal or other accountability and he should not be involved in any blame game or complaints against anybody. The Counsellors undertake that the information which may come to their notice will not be disclosed to anybody nor will they make use of it for any other purposes.

All are requested to co-operate and avail this unique opportunity. Suggestions for improvement of this scheme are welcome. Persons willing
to be enlisted on this panel may kindly do so.
